* Average ex named place of loading prices (ex-stock selling prices – free on rail, free on truck or free on board the ship, loaded ex site) for certain steel scrap types Germany-wide and differences compared to the previous month in €/t. Notifications by member companies of the Federal Association of German Steel Recycling and Disposal Companies (Bundesvereinigung Deutscher Stahlrecycling- und Entsorgungsunternehmen – BDSV) about prices and quantities that are sent to an independent reporting centre. The reporting period is from the 1st to the 20th calendar day of the current month. The prices to be reported are exclusively ex named place of loading prices (ex-stock selling prices). The prices for the new scrap types 2 and 8 are collected in the system of BDSV. The BDSV price determination system has been discussed with the German Federal Cartel Office.
